Finally some cold weather ❄️

The first day of fall was 2+ months ago but it’s still been pretty warm here in the south. Fortunately, we had a cold front roll through last night so it finally feels like the most wonderful time of the year! Just in time too, since we spent the weekend decorating the house and stringing up lights. Now all we need is the tree!

So basically anytime it gets below 50°F I make chili and cornbread for dinner.

It’s become a cold night tradition – a chili night, if you will 😎. Normally I either slow-cook it or cook it on the stove but tonight was my first time pressure cooking the chili. Umm. Game. Changer. It was delicious! Add some cornbread cooked in the cast iron skillet and voilà! Bon appétit 👌🏼
